Follow the steps below to download, install and launch the official BGS client.
Make sure you have:
- A stable internet connection
- Enough free storage for the BGS client
- A supported Windows installation
- Your BGS account credentials

Download the latest official BGS client from the official BGS download page.

Always make sure you are using the latest available client version.
- Download the BGS client package.
- Create a dedicated folder for your BGS installation.
- Place the downloaded client package inside the folder.
- Extract the client files.
- Wait until the extraction is completely finished.
- Do not rename or remove required client files.
- Use the official launcher or executable provided with the client.
After installation:
- Open the BGS client folder.
- Launch the official BGS launcher or executable.
- Allow the client to update if an update is available.
- Enter your BGS account credentials.
- Select your character.
- Enter the game.
⚡ Always use the current official BGS client. Older client versions may not work correctly after server updates.
BGS may release client updates when changes are made to:
- Game files
- Skills
- Items
- Maps
- NPCs
- Systems
- Security
- Other server content
When an update is announced, follow the latest official BGS instructions before launching the game.
Try the following:
- Make sure you are using the latest BGS client.
- Restart the launcher.
- Restart your computer.
- Check whether your security software has blocked a required client file.
- Make sure the client files were extracted completely.
- Download a fresh copy of the official BGS client if the installation appears corrupted.
Check:
- Your internet connection
- Windows Firewall
- Antivirus or security software
- Whether the launcher has permission to access the internet
- Whether the BGS update service is currently available
If the problem continues, contact BGS support.
Do not download individual BGS game files from random websites.
Instead:
- Remove the damaged client installation.
- Download the latest official BGS client.
- Extract the client again.
- Launch the game using the official files.
If the client launches but you cannot connect:
- Check your internet connection.
- Confirm that the BGS server is online.
- Make sure you are using the latest client.
- Check official BGS announcements for maintenance or service interruptions.
